Collection: Bornite

Bornite is a major ore for copper and is often found in industrial mines. It can be brassy yellow because of the copper inside it, or more grey if it has a higher iron content. But Bornite can also easily tarnish and when it does it displays a brilliant metallic rainbow and is nicknamed Peacock Ore.
Bornite was named after a Ignaz Von Born a Transylvanian scientist who put together the world’s first public Natural History museum.
Bornite has a happy and sensible energy that encourages us to actively work to improve the present and the future. It reminds us that good things often take time to create and that the journey of one thousand miles, begins with a single step.

We have numerous pieces of stunning Bornite in different physiognomy, sizes and weight.
If none of the listed items corresponds to the size/physiognomy you require or does not align with your budget, please contact us - we love to help you finding your Bornite!
